PPS is seeking an entry level Facilities Maintenance Technician for our fabrication operation in Parma Hts. The primary role will be to perform basic facility maintenance and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire role with excellent benefits (profit sharing bonuses and on-site gym!) and a high ceiling for growth with a 100-year old company!
Responsibilities:
Safety is your No.1 priority.
Observes and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues.
Dismantles devices to gain access to remove and replace defective parts.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs, rebuilds, or replaces defective parts.
Installs special functional control and structural parts in devices.
Maintains and records data for costing, inventory, and scheduled maintenance (performed by machine operators).
General building maintenance, lighting, plumbing.
Operate forklift and elevated working platform.
Assist with moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.
Repairs, fabricates, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as four slides, coilers, stamping presses, payoffs, flatteners, compressors, tool room machinery and other production machines
