Maintenance Tech

Our client in Mars PA is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Tech to join the team. Position will be on 1st Shift from 7am - 330pm M-F

Duties:

- Perform regular facility maintenance and address equipment repairs promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machines, mechanical equipment, and devices.
- Identify malfunctions through visual or auditory observation.
- Run diagnostic tests to verify system functionality and performance.
- Repair faulty or damaged machine components as needed.
- Respond to and perform emergency repairs as required.
- Select and use appropriate materials based on the specific mechanical requirements of the task.
- Align, calibrate, and maintain machine parts for optimal operation.
- Monitor project progress and provide status updates as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines in all maintenance tasks.
- Perform various tasks such as wiring, plumbing, mounting, leveling, and installation of machinery.
- Interpret and work with mechanical and electrical schematics effectively.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical issues independently, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for services and repairs as needed.




Requirements:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in machine maintenance
- Valid driver's license with no major violations.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanics
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Lock out Tag out experience
