The Warbler Hotel | New Orleans, LA | Full-Time | $19.00 per hour

The Warbler is a new 58-room boutique hotel opening on New Orleans' historic St. Charles Avenue, home to Mildred's Restaurant & Bar, a café, and a rooftop bar. Learn more at thewarblerhotel.com. We're hiring a Maintenance Tech to help keep the property running ahead of our September 2026 opening - reporting to the Chief Engineer.

What You'll Do

• Perform general repairs - plumbing, PTAC units, furniture, fixtures, electronic locks, painting, and carpentry
• Complete routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance on hotel machinery
• Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and courteously
• Care for the hotel's grounds and pool, including daily chemical checks
• Communicate promptly with Guest Services and Housekeeping on room readiness

What You'll Need

• Minimum one year of general building maintenance experience or equivalent trade profession experience
• Vocational school certification preferred
• Hotel or boutique/lifestyle property experience is a plus
• Comfort with physical work: walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation & Job Type

$19.00 per hour | Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt) | New Orleans, LA
