Maintenance Technician - Episcopal Homes of Minnesota | Full-Time

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served seniors for 130 years in St. Paul's Midway neighborhood. Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Home Care services. We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team and help ensure our campus buildings and systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Wage: $21.00-$27.00/hr. DOE.

Schedule: Day Shift: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. | Full-Time | On-call responsibilities required

What You'll Do

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring, and building upkeep
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of facility systems and equipment
• Receive, prioritize, and complete maintenance work orders using maintenance management software
• Conduct inspections to identify safety and compliance needs in accordance with senior living and healthcare regulations
• Maintain and repair pool systems, HVAC, cooling towers, and chillers
• Support disaster preparedness and safety strategies
• Assist with project planning, installations, and facility upgrades
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting of maintenance expenses
• Provide emergency response as part of the on-call rotation

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
• Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Boiler's License (Specialist or higher) preferred
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare or senior living environments a plus
