Maintenance Technician

2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and unplanned maintenance needs to minimize production downtime.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues across production equipment.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery reliability and optimal performance.

  • Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs using a maintenance management system.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure equipment meets process requirements.

  • Troubleshoot plant utilities and support systems such as air, water, and steam.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues.

  • Understanding of best safety practices. Examples include PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and safe work practices in an industrial environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology preferred.

  • Experience working with production or processing equipment found in industrial machinery environments.

  • Experience with welding and fabrication skills preferred

  • Basic computer skills and maintenance tracking systems.

Working Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial materials. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Pay Details: $74,000.00 per year
