General Maintenance Duties
First responder to maintenance work orders and customer service requests as assigned
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs
Address plumbing issues in breakrooms, restrooms and kitchens
Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, patch and paint, piping, floors and equipment maintenance
Grounds and basic exterior inspection and maintenance
Packaging and delivery of equipment
Clean, lubricate, and service facility equipment
Assist with installation and modification of non‑electrical building equipment
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost‑savings
Maintain a strong working knowledge of tools and equipment used in general facility maintenance
Conduct building and grounds inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs
Follow all applicable safety procedures, codes, and site‑specific requirements
Use smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based systems, and digital tools to track work orders and PM tasks
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and comply with C&W uniform dress code
May serve as the sole on‑site maintenance technician during certain shifts; may participate in on‑call or overtime rotations
Complete all required customer and C&W Safety Trainings
Willing to work on the weekends as needed
Willing to work Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, in Oro Valley, AZ
Preventative Maintenance
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections on building systems, interior finishes, equipment, and facility components
Complete PM tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time to prevent equipment failures and reduce reactive repairs
Document all PM work in the designated system, including inspection results, repairs performed, and future recommendations
Identify developing issues during inspections and address them before they lead to downtime or safety risks
Important Experience
Must be a team player, have great customer service, and a positive attitude.
5+ years of commercial maintenance experience, with strong emphasis on performing preventative maintenance
OSHA Training, High School Diploma or GED`
Strong initiative and dependable work ethic
Able to multitask and work independently or with a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
Preferred: Experience in office, hospitals, labs, or manufacturing facilities
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Training or on‑the‑job experience in one or more areas is a plus: Electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, door/speed door repairs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must know how to use iPhones and have basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word
Work Environment
Work performed within commercial office, laboratory and warehouse environments
Regular use of tools, computers, mobile devices, and office equipment
Physical Demands
Frequent walking throughout the work environment
Ability to lift +50lbs, reach, bend, climb, and use hands/arms for repairs
Regular communication with staff, customers, vendors, and management
Compensation
Compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, region, and applicable agreements. The company will not pay less than minimum wage.
