Industrial Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire

We’re hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established custom manufacturing company specializing in forging and precision machining. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, strong benefits, and a laid-back work environment.
? What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues (including 480V systems)
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Conduct daily plant walkthroughs to identify and address issues
- Repair or replace parts and test equipment for proper operation
- Assist with basic facility maintenance (HVAC filters, lighting, minor plumbing, etc.)
- Maintain parts inventory and ensure necessary supplies are stocked
? What We’re Looking For
- 2–3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with industrial equipment and machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work on your feet
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and sense of urgency
- Not afraid of heights and able to multitask effectively
? Preferred Background
- Experience in steel processing, forging, or heavy manufacturing
- Familiarity with CNC equipment, lathes, mills, or similar machinery
