Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and functional work environment. This role involves identifying maintenance issues, completing repairs, conducting routine inspections, and supporting preventative maintenance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks as qualified.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and facilities for damage, wear, or maintenance needs.
- Complete routine preventative maintenance and replace worn or damaged parts.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and properly.
- Report major repairs, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
- Follow all company safety procedures, food-safety requirements, and maintenance standards.
- Assist with other facility support tasks as needed.
