Our client, a growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider with multiple warehouse locations, is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support operations across approximately six facilities. This role will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of warehouse equipment and building systems.

The Maintenance Technician will report to a designated “home base”facility where the company vehicle, tools, and maintenance supplies will be stored. Travel between facilities during the workday is required.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Conduct general building maintenance including:
  • Minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Lighting replacement and repairs
  • Dock door and racking maintenance
  • Painting, patching, and general upkeep
  • Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns at multiple warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Coordinate with warehouse leadership regarding maintenance priorities and equipment downtime
  • Maintain organization and inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies
  • Operate company work van between locations as needed

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or forklift repair experience preferred
  • Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Forklift maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple local facilities throughout the workday
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse environments including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working around moving equipment
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Preferred Skills
  • Forklift certification or prior forklift repair experience
  • Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
  • HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience is beneficial
  • Experience using maintenance tracking systems or work order software
