Wingate Management Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This role is ideal for someone with residential or multifamily maintenance experience who can work independently, handle a variety of repairs, and provide excellent service to residents.
What You'll Do
- Complete resident work orders efficiently while providing professional and responsive service.
- Troubleshoot and perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general building repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance and assist with maintaining building systems and equipment.
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents, including completing turnover repairs and punch-list items.
- Inspect property areas and promptly identify maintenance, safety, or repair concerns.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas while following company safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous apartment, multifamily, residential, or similar maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must have and maintain your own basic tools necessary to perform apartment maintenance responsibilities.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently while managing multiple maintenance priorities.
