Job Description

Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician for an opportunity with Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance. This position involves maintaining residential properties, completing repairs, and preparing vacant units for occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs, including fixtures, sewer lines, and clogged drains.

• Troubleshoot and repair furnaces, hot water tanks, and basic electrical systems.

• Install and repair lighting, outlets, switches, doors, windows, cabinets, and flooring.

• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance repairs.

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.

• Maintain common areas and ensure properties are clean and safe.

• Respond to maintenance requests and provide excellent customer service.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance, construction, or related experience.

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

• No more than 6 points on driving record within 3 consecutive years.
