Urban Restorations is currently searching for a full-time Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Ohio. Urban Restorations is a family-owned real estate development headquartered in Columbus, OH. We specialize in historic renovation, new home construction and property management of residential and commercial properties.

• Pay: $25-$35/hr, offer dependent on experience  

Our ideal Maintenance Technician will have/be:

• At least 5 years of residential maintenance experience in a similar environment or equivalent training and/or experience
• Must have own tools
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers, iPads, and cloud-based property management software. 
• Knowledge of all hand and power tools, cleaning supplies, and protective equipment

Our Maintenance Technician will:

• Conduct property inspections to ensure that all maintenance and/or safety issues are documented and addressed.
• Service multiple locations throughout Columbus, OH
• Assist daily in maintaining the exterior of the properties to always provide clean and aesthetic curb appeal
• Repair/replace lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, wiring, etc. Knowledge and experience with using diagnostic devices to determine the nature and defect of electrical services
• Repair/replace plumbing fixtures, drains, supply lines, faucets, arms, etc. Knowledge and experience with using drain snake equipment to clear clogged drains.
• Installation, repair and finishing drywall, as well as minor painting.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and hot water tanks.
• Complete work order and after hours on call requests in accordance with components.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of common areas, hallways, stairwells, trach chutes and grounds maintenance which includes snow removal from walkways, parking lots and buildings.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy by performing all necessary repairs.
