Job Summary and Qualifications Maintain equipment in top operating conditions and minimize breakdown of it. Ensure that the aesthetic appearance of the hospital is maintained in satisfactory condition. Must possess unique skills which foster cooperative working relationships, which promotes a positive image of the department to outside personnel. Good verbal/written communication skills are essential. Must be able to deal with physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel in a professional manner at all times. Must have effective working relationship with other hospital departments, partners, etc., awareness of cost and equipment used and control of hospital assets. Mechanic must also have proven technical experience and skills in troubleshooting control circuits, mechanical equipment, ability to read controls schematics, manuals, etc., and the ability to diagnose and repair those more technical problems that occur with controls, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, or plumbing. What qualifications you will need: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date EPA Technician (BOILER) Boiler Mechanic Permit, or (ELEC-JOUR) Journeyman Electrician, or (HVAC) HVAC Technician, or (PLUMB-JOUR) Journeyman Plumber, or (ELEC-MAINT) Electrical Maintenance License No Travel Required 5 years experience Required Years of Experience Benefits Medical City Green Oaks Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
