We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented maintenance professional to help keep facilities, equipment, and systems operating safely and efficiently. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, and support a clean, orderly, and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on building systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues as needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize work based on urgency and operational impact
- Complete corrective maintenance tasks in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain tools, supplies, and spare parts inventory
- Document work performed, parts used, and maintenance activities accurately
- Support compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations
- Coordinate with outside contractors or service providers when necessary
- Assist with setup, moves, installations, and other facility support tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related technical field preferred
- Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, standing, climbing, bending, and extended periods of activity
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry repairs
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs or work order systems
- Basic understanding of safety standards and facility operations
- Certification or technical training in a maintenance-related field
