Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an opportunity in Elyria, OH! This position is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who can troubleshoot equipment, maintain facility systems, and keep operations running smoothly. If you have at least five years of maintenance experience and enjoy tackling new challenges, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment issues as they arise.

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair building systems, including lighting, water systems, waste systems, and compressed air systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on maintenance tools and equipment.

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of maintenance supplies and parts.

• Identify potential equipment or facility issues and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime.

• Follow established safety procedures while performing maintenance and repairs.

• Support efficient facility operations by responding to maintenance needs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of five years of maintenance experience.

• Proficient in forklift operation.

• Good computer skills.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, and percentages.

• Ability to use measuring devices accurately.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions.

• Ability to stand and walk for an 8–10-hour shift, climb ladders, and occasionally work inside machinery.

Shift: 3rd (9 pm to 5:30 am) (train on 1st shift)
Salary: $26 to $30 an hour based on experience
