- Read and interpret owner's manuals, maintenance manuals, and blueprints (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical) to troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facilities.
- Install and debug electrical and fuel systems.
- Wire panels and terminations to equipment from schematics and/or blueprints in compliance with NEC code.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment; maintain a schedule and records of completion.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust.
- Participate in job-related training and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of previous maintenance experience.
- Ability to perform electrical tasks in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.Preferred Qualifications
- Current Vanderburgh County electrical license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience programming, troubleshooting, and/or repairing programmable logic controllers (PLCs).Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, or balance for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
