We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair aseptic processing and packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role supports equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, food safety compliance, and continuous production.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Support aseptic processing, filling, packaging, CIP/SIP, and changeovers
Read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
Maintain maintenance records and CMMS documentation
Follow GMP, HACCP, LOTO, and safety procedures
Must-Haves
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience in food, beverage, dairy, aseptic, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and production equipment
Basic electrical and PLC troubleshooting knowledge
Pneumatic and hydraulic experience
CMMS experience
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Preferred
Aseptic processing or packaging equipment experience
Tetra Pak, SIG, Krones, or similar equipment
CIP/SIP experience
Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting
Welding, fabrication, or machining experience
