Maintenance Technician

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep production equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently at their Grand Rapids, MI facility.

**Pay Rate: **$25/hr - $30/hr

**Shift: **Days/Afternoon/Nights

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment

• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs efficiently to minimize production interruptions

• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, and automated machinery

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation

• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications

• Perform routine inspections and identify potential equipment problems before failures occur

• Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately using CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining industrial production equipment

• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment

• Knowledge of VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial automation
