Job Description


Camp Mesorah is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. We are looking for a hands-on, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and can help maintain, repair, and improve our large camp property.


This position offers a wide variety of responsibilities, from general building maintenance and repairs to equipment operation, groundskeeping, and property improvement projects.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and improvements throughout the property.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
  
  
• Maintain cabins, bathrooms, common areas, recreational facilities, and other buildings.
  
  
• Assist with groundskeeping, landscaping, and property improvement projects.
  
  
• Operate and maintain tractors, skid steers, power tools, and other equipment.
  
  
• Assist with seasonal camp preparation, winterization, and preventative maintenance.
  
  
• Identify maintenance issues and proactively address repairs and safety concerns.
  
  
• Work independently and collaboratively with other maintenance personnel and contractors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance, construction, facilities management, or a related trade.
  
  
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building repairs.
  
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
  
  
• Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
  
  
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.
