This role works closely with all departments to ensure guest rooms, public spaces, equipment, and hotel grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.Essential ResponsibilitiesBuilding Maintenance & RepairsPerform preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.Complete painting, carpentry, drywall, and general repair projects as needed.Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls.Maintain storage rooms, shops, and mechanical areas in a clean and safe condition.Report maintenance concerns and recommend repairs when necessary.Grounds & Property CareMaintain parking lots, landscaping, exterior areas, and hotel grounds.Keep stairwells, corridors, vending areas, and service areas clean and presentable.Remove trash and debris from guest and employee areas.Support linen and housekeeping operations as needed.Guest Service & Team SupportDeliver friendly, professional service to guests and team members.Communicate effectively with Front Desk and hotel leadership regarding maintenance requests.Assist with hotel projects, renovations, vendor coordination, and new technology initiatives.Provide cross-functional support, including limited Front Desk coverage when needed.Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel management.Safety & QualityFollow all hotel safety procedures and company policies.Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately.Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.Help ensure the hotel consistently meets brand and guest satisfaction standards.What We're Looking ForPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.Basic computer and technology skills.Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed.Success in This RoleThe ideal candidate is:Reliable and dependableHands-on and mechanically inclinedGuest-focusedOrganized and proactiveSafety-consciousTeam-orientedDetail-orientedWhy You'll Love This OpportunityBuild valuable hospitality maintenance experience.Work with a supportive and collaborative team.Play an essential role in guest satisfaction.Enjoy a variety of responsibilities each day.Grow your career with Radiate Hospitality and Hilton.Join Our TeamIf you take pride in maintaining high standards, solving problems, and creating great guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.Apply Today!Hampton Inn Petaluma is proudly managed by Radiate Hospitality.Radiate Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
