As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a vital role in preserving safe, welcoming environments where this mission comes to life every day.
You’ll bring your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to a wide range of maintenance responsibilities across our campus, community residences, and vacation homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform skilled repairs in plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Conduct preventative maintenance and complete work orders efficiently
Inspect, test, and coordinate maintenance for fire alarms and elevators
Prepare and complete painting projects across a variety of surfaces
Diagnose and repair faulty electrical circuits and equipment
Ensure all spaces are clean, safe, and free of hazards
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors
Respond to on-call needs, including weekends and holidays
Follow all safety procedures and proactively identify risks
Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Communicate professionally with staff, residents, families, and visitors
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or trade school certification in maintenance-related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in building and equipment repair
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Solid computer and communication skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Willingness to be on-call as needed
Personal integrity and alignment with a mission-driven organization
Preferred:
Experience in healthcare, campus, or religious environments
Ability to lead, train, and support others

This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75+ lbs), climbing ladders, and working in various physical positions. Candidates must be able to safely perform all essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
