Job Purpose Maintain and repair all plant and operations equipment through root cause fixes. Build and modify new equipment through continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work With an Automation setting understanding PLC logic and Handshaking between Equipment,
- Remote connection of laptop via internet VPN to PLCs for monitoring processes.
- Troubleshoot and Repair electrical problems using electrical schematics, multi meter, amp Probes, and Megger.
- Evaluate equipment capabilities and modify through continuous improvements
- Support Robotic operations with Panasonic and Motoman integration with PLC.
- Support line repairs and breakdowns Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Related
- Ability to Upgrade and find Suitable Replacement parts for obsolete items
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
- Experienced with Arch Flash, LOTO, Confined Space and Fall protection
- Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product and Root Cause Fixes
- Must provide own tools and perform maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime. Other duties may be assigned by the company.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, based on education and work experience.

- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot/edit PLC ladder Logic – ABB, Mitsubishi, Control Technology Corporation, Allen Bradley, Direct Logic
- Experience with installing/trouble shooting Servo’s, VFD, Sensors, motors, Encoders Light Curtains, Safety Relays, HMI, PLC Hardware
- Electrician/Control Panel Building, Wiring of Electrical circuits Per Electrical Schematics
- Basic knowledge light fabrication welding, cutting, use of hand tools.
- Skilled predictive Maintenance.
- Must be able to perform new equipment set-up and diagnostics.
- Must have the ability to work at a fast pace, understanding urgency, be open to new and different things, and express opinions regarding work methods and blueprints. Must be willing to take responsibility for mistakes.
- Must have the ability to read multi-meter, blueprints, operator and maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, ladder logic and well versed with computers.
- Must have the ability to document work logs, update manuals, create P.M. scheduling program, record keeping, component changes.
- Must have the ability to communicate information orally and/or written to other personnel in a clear, concise manner.
