Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and prepare apartments for new residents (turns/make-readies)
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, and general maintenance repairs
  • Assist with renovations, remodels, capital improvement projects, and property upgrades
  • Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project timelines
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance, as required
  • Maintain excellent customer service with residents and team members
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Travel between properties throughout Northern California

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of multifamily maintenance, construction, or renovation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of residential building systems and maintenance best practices
  • HVAC certification is a plus, but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Must have standard tools and smartphone for work order assignments
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors
