Maintenance Technician

The Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Northeast is seeking an experienced maintenance tech to join our dynamic team!MAINTENANCE TECHResponsibilities include maintaining hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive hotel.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTroubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical/electrical systems and equipment through the hotel (e.g. HVAC, plumbing)PM all HVAC units annually and chemically clean according to standards set forth by Chief EngineerPerform and document guest room and public areas using the Property Preservation procedures set forth by the Chief EngineerProvide quarterly preventative maintenance summary to the Chief EngineerMaintain guest room and public area electronic lock system to include troubleshooting, programming locks, reading locks, replacing locks, and printing lock reportsMaintain hotel laundry equipmentAssist with guest room mattress rotationService the hotel's pool per board of Health Dept.Complete maintenance logs DailyMaintain the building exterior (e.g. snow removal, lawn care, painting)Maintain parking lot, including picking up trash and emptying trashcans as neededAssist with annual tool inventory, forward to Chief EngineerAssist with conducting key audits and maintain accurate records of keys and who has themProvide information to guests about hotel services, facilities, other amenities, and local attractionsProactively listen for and respond to guest complaints to their ultimate satisfactionKnow and be able to train and explain emergency evacuation procedures of the hotelAssist in safety training for associates.
