Maintenance Technician

We're hiring 2 Maintenance Technicians for a full-time, temporary (6-month) assignment in Melbourne, FL, working Monday through Friday on the day shift. In this role, you'll perform routine building and facility maintenance, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and support daily operations in a safe, organized industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building, facility, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and assist with equipment calibration and continuous improvement projects.
• Build shipping crates, maintain a clean work area, and perform general shop duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or trade school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
