What You'll Do

• Executes all assigned maintenance work. Work includes preventive maintenance, urgent maintenance, routine maintenance, or other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for completing required reports and documentation including parts usage and work orders.
• Responsible for the daily compliance of all plant, corporate, OSHA, EPA, safety, and housekeeping policies.
• Troubleshoots, repair and maintain plant equipment as directed. Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Respond to start up or trouble alarms
• Sort and organize tool groove block shims, all storage draws
• Complete shadow boards in drawers for tooling interchanges
• Maintain tool handling rigs & cleaning
• Preform PM's/Inspections on all press tools
• Participate in all Press PM's when available
• Ensure that tool set ups are completed on time to meet production schedule demand
• Assist with setup and sharpening of all tools as available
• Inspect tools as they come out of the press and document findings
• Perform Nitrodyne pressure tests on tools prior to installation and document results
• Update Tooling Status Board for all to see
• Determine back up tools and have them ready.
• Maintain tooling dashboard "real time" (What's running, backups and on-deck)
• Rebuild Nitrodyne cylinders (only as needed)
• Test rebuilt Nitrodyne cylinders (only as needed)

What You'll Need

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
• Must be able to perform the physical task of the job assigned; to include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Ability to operate hand tools

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
• 2 Year technical degree, certificate or comparable training preferred
