We are dedicated to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, people, and in becoming a better employer every day.We are searching for an awesome maintenance technician that works well with others and is also able to function well on their own to analyze root causes and provide solutions beyond band aid fixes.Night Shift: 6:50 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in a 4 day on/4 day off rotation schedule(4 day vacation every week!)Salary and Benefits: We offer good pay, great benefits, and cool incentives for our Maintenance Technicians - a full career package.Pay Range: $24-$30/hr + $1 night shift premiumFour 12 hour shifts with overtime pay for hours over 40Health, Dental, and Vision insurances, Flexible Spending Accounts available after 60 days of employment401K w/company matching available after 6 months of employmentTwo weeks paid-time-off accrual starts at hire date and can be used after 60 days of employmentVoluntary overtime is availablePosition Summary: Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the repair, installation, adjustment, and/or maintenance of industrial production and processing machinery while maintaining a strong focus on safety and good manufacturing practices.Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance functions.Repair or maintain the operating condition of production and processing machineryExamine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wearObserve and test the operation of machinery or equipment to ensure proper operation and to diagnose malfunctions.Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machineryRecord repairs performed, parts used, and timeRepair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.Read service guides to find information needed to perform repairs.Inspect and test equipment in order to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions.Responsible for troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing) and repairing equipment in a timely manner.Identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, or efficiency of automation equipment.Performs various maintenance work and/or repairs in an efficient and timely manner.Operates and maintains equipment and tools for work performed.Physical Requirements:Regularly lift and/or move a minimum weight of 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Ability to climb ladders and work in high, precarious places up to elevations of 50 feet.Have the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small parts.
