Maintenance Technician

Job Description


The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of commercial properties and grounds. This position helps ensure the property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained while providing support to the maintenance team and property management.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform and assist with general maintenance and repairs of commercial properties and grounds.
  
  
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  
  
• Assist with setting up and taking down events as needed.
  
  
• Work scheduled shifts, which may include Saturdays and holidays.
  
  
• Assist other maintenance team members with projects and daily responsibilities.
  
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Facilities Manager.
  
  

Requirements and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of property and grounds maintenance, including landscaping, sprinkler repairs, and equipment maintenance.
  
  
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
  
  
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  
  
• Must have a smartphone and be able to download and use the company’s work order application.
  
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  
  
• Ability to work professionally and courteously around the public on a daily basis.
  
  
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  
  
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
