Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM-1:00 AM (Occasional Weekends)

About the Role

Join a growing food and beverage manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and utility equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving mechanical and electrical issues, supporting equipment reliability, and minimizing production downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, emergency, and corrective maintenance on production, processing, packaging, and utility equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automated equipment to restore production quickly and safely
Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify potential issues before failures occur
Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and work orders to complete repairs
Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
Support production teams by troubleshooting equipment issues and helping reduce downtime
Complete work orders accurately and document all maintenance activities in the CMMS or maintenance tracking system
Utilize hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
Follow MRO procedures for parts usage, inventory, and maintenance documentation
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, GMPs, food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and company policies
Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and leadership teams regarding equipment status and repair priorities

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical school or trade school education in industrial maintenance, electrical, PLCs, mechanical systems, welding, refrigeration, or related field preferred
4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automated production equipment
Experience working with conveyors, packaging equipment, process equipment, motor controls, and industrial machinery
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
Experience using maintenance tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment
Basic computer skills and experience completing maintenance documentation
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
