Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment at our facility in Prophetstown, IL. This is a hands-on position supporting precision machining, metal fabrication, and production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment
• Maintain CNC machines, machining centers, welding equipment, grinders, and other production machinery
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and industrial control systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working with CNC machines, machining equipment, or metal fabrication equipment preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and electrical controls
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance
