Maintenance Technician

Assistant Maintenance Technician - Property Management

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay: $24/hr

Location: Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role supports the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring our community stays safe, functional, and well‑maintained for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine repairs including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, grounds, and maintenance shop
• Support turnover of vacant units (painting, minor repairs, cleaning)
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or handyman experience required
• Basic knowledge of tools, repairs, and building systems
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
