Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 24-00438

Imagine Baking is a growing food manufacturer located in Sandusky, OH that manufactures cookies, crackers, biscuits, brittles and chips!

-Maintenance Technicians specialize in installing and maintaining a variety of mechanical machinery within the facility. Their responsibilities include conducting inspections, troubleshooting problems, replacing parts, and performing necessary repairs.

Available Shifts:
1st shift 6am-4pm
2nd shift 4pm-12am
Monday - Saturday

Pay Rate:
$27.00+ /hr. (depending on experience)

Work Environment:
Imagine baking provides abright, clean environment.While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Technician is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and high noise levels.

Successful candidates will;
  • Have good attendance, great hand-eye coordination, great dependability in the workplace, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills; the ability to build and maintain positive rapport with subordinates, peers, and department managers
  • Adjust and repair machines and equipment while following quality and safety requirements
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedule goals
  • Analyze and resolves work problems
  • Have prior experience with machine operations, plumbing and welding
Preferred experience and/or skillsets (Not Required)
  • Experience working with packaging and baking equipment, such as Doboy, Hayssen,and Matrix brand machinery, is a plus but not required
  • Journeyman or skill trade is a plus but not required
  • Experience with a Programmable Logic Controller and electrical experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with vertical bagging is a plus but not required
