Maintenance Technician

A manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running efficiently and support facility maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Injection molding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and complete repairs to minimize downtime.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical controls, PLCs, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.

• Read technical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve issues.

• Handle general building repairs, including basic plumbing and electrical work.

• Document completed repairs and maintenance activities.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

• Recommend improvements to equipment reliability and support production as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience.

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, and schematics.

• Experience maintaining injection molding equipment is a plus.

• Familiarity with automated inspection or vision systems is helpful.

• General facility maintenance skills and knowledge of industrial safety practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
