Maintenance technician

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a client located in Tualatin, who specializes in thermal heat treating.

• In this role you will be assisting with preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.

Minimum requirements to be considered:

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must be on time and accounted for at the beginning of shift.

• Comfortable standing / walking/ bending/ lifting

• Comfortable with heavy lifting -- 100lbs occasionally

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment, tools, basic maintenance (forklift, hand and power tools, etc)

• Some experience in mechanical, industrial equipment maintenance is preferred but not required

• Mechanically inclined, with potential to learn and grow

• Experience with hydraulic press is a plus

• Self-Starter and Pro-active

• Detail Oriented and Stress Resistant

• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Duties and responsibilities:

• Partner closely with maintenance team to address maintenance needs

• Maintain required records and documentation

• Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure they are up to standard and proper maintenance is being completed

• Preventative maintenance and repair on shop equipment and machinery / installs/ etc

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages honest dialog, feedback and innovation

• Physically able to pick up and transport 50lbs+

• Maintain proper house keeping

• Navigate thru operating system (will train)

• Operate large forklift, crane and crane rigging

• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manger

DETAILS:

• Monday - Friday

• 7:00am start time

• $25 - $30/hr to start
