Standard Job Description

Establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, according to established procedures. May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs. Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction. Provides assistance and support to all divisions in helping them determine their training needs and develop and conduct their maintenance training programs. Establishes and directs the maintenance of company-wide training programs. Establishes and directs the maintenance of a company-wide training and qualification record system. Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals. Coordinates all required technical training and outside contract sales technical training programs. Exclude ground school instructors.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in an aircraft maintenance instructor role.
• Experience in training content delivery and instructor methodologies.
• Maintain and create maintenance personnel training records for both aircraft and non-aircraft training.
• Maintain Training program in accordance with AeroCode 7666.
• Ensure Training program is complying in accordance with DCMA Instruction 8210.
• Track training compliance and coordinates completion of training for maintenance personnel and reports to management.
• Analyze training requirements to identify training needs and shortfalls.
• Coordinates and manages training meetings with management.
• Provided training metrics for maintenance personnel to management.
• Coordinates training locally and with Fort Worth Training Department for maintenance personnel.
• Coordinates and tracks medical certifications and scheduling.
• Coordinates with Navy Fleet Readiness Center to secure training and certification for Lockheed Martin personnel on Navy Support Equipment.
• Coordinates with Navy personnel for Lockheed Martin to secure training and certification for airfield driver's licenses.
• Coordinates with Fort Worth to create local training courses in LM Talent Central.

• F-35 Experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply blueprints.
• Understanding of Avionics and other system integration.
• Understanding of engine systems and theory of operations.
• Knowledge and experience with standard shop tools.
• Ability to speak clearly with exceptional communication skills.
• Knowledge of Autonomic Logistics Information Systems (ALIS).
• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, LM Talent, Learning Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, or other related software suites.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills are required for the position.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00
