In this hands-on role, you will perform various repairs, assist in maintaining a safe environment, and help ensure that all facilities and equipment function properly. This position requires someone with experience in building maintenance and groundskeeping who is capable of working independently and in all weather conditions.The RolePerform routine maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, roofing, carpentry, and painting across all facilitiesMaintain the campus grounds, including landscaping, tree and shrub care, lawn mowing, and snow and ice removal from roads and walkwaysDiagnose and address emergency repairs, especially in adverse weather conditionsEnsure all equipment used for groundskeeping and repairs is maintained and in working orderRespond to and complete maintenance requests in a timely mannerFollow safety procedures and participate in required safety trainingAssist with setup and support for special events as neededPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisorQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent (trade school/apprenticeship a plus)Minimum 1-2 years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, snow removal, and building maintenanceExperience in carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical repairsExperience working with adults with developmental disabilities is a plusPhysically capable of performing tasks that require bending, lifting, and walking, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 poundsProficiency in basic computer skills, including accurate typing, navigating websites, entering and recalling data, using word processors and spreadsheet software, managing emails, and familiarity with digital communication etiquette and techniquesValid driver's license with a clean recordAbility to work independently and handle extreme weather conditionsCompensationThe hourly rate for this role is $19.00 per hourDisclaimer: As part of the pre-employment process, all employees at Lambs Farm are required to successfully complete background and registry checks and medical screenings.
