As a team we are committed inspired and connected to make a difference in the community.  What You Will DoAre you ready for a job in the outdoors helping support local parks As a Maintenance Worker for Carroll County you will engage in the activities necessary to keep our Sports Complex a welcoming and safe space. We are looking for a friendly and courteous individual to be responsible for field preparations. You will help oversee park use during weekend tournaments perform basic maintenance and ensure clean safe grounds. Essential Duties
Perform landscaping and cleaning duties to maintain fields and lawns bathrooms and trash. Operate and maintain park grounds equipment.
Keep accurate records of park use. Ensure users conduct themselves in a safe and proper manner.
Patrol the park on a regular basis and report individuals under the influence trespassing andor vandalizing the property.
Assist in general crowd control and regulation of traffic. Provide information and assistance to park visitors related to emergency rescue fire prevention and first aid.
Prepare fields and park for weekend tournaments and weekly user groups.
Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.

High school diploma or general education diploma GED
Up to one year of related experience
A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
Required Licenses and Certifications
Valid drivers license
Bloodborne Pathogen training or must obtain within 60 days of employment
Additional Information
Flexible work schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Requires criminal background check as condition of employment.
May be identified as Essential Personnel during emergency situations.
Working Conditions
Frequent exposure to potentially adverse weather conditions.
Frequent physical activity standingwalking pushingpulling bending reaching lifting and carrying climbing steps squatting stooping kneeling and related activities.
Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
