Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures or performs screening mammography in a mobile environment. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
- Maintains department quality assurance programs.
- Positions patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedures.
- Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
- Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
- Prepares, maintains, and scans appropriate documentation required by the department.
