Mammography Technologist
Location: Boardman, Ohio
Schedule: 32 hours per week (4 eight-hour shifts) Southwoods Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide compassionate, high-quality imaging services at our Boardman office.
Essential Duties:
- Clinical Excellence: Competently perform mammography procedures according to ACR and MQSA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Maintain accurate records and equipment monitoring to uphold strict QC program standards.
- Patient Safety: Ensure proper shielding, follow aseptic techniques, and monitor patient status during exams.
- Efficiency: Prepare supplies, interpret physician orders accurately, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA, manufacturer, and regulatory safety specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification: ARRT Registered and Certified in Mammography.
- Licensure: Active Radiographer license in the State of Ohio.
- Specialized Training: Must have completed 8 hours of Digital Mammography and 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training.
- Compliance: Must stay current with ODH, ARRT, and MQSA continuing education requirements.
- Safety: BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
