Immediate need for a talented Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech). This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite). Key Responsibilities: - Weekly Gross - 2500.8 (Based on completion of 40 hours a week) Per-Diem – Inclusive of Meals, Incidentals & Lodging: $1500.80/week Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations using Hologic equipment. Assist radiologists with breast biopsy procedures (stereotactic, ultrasoundguided, or other). Position patients accurately and compassionately to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort. Evaluate images for technical quality, repeat as needed, and document appropriately. Maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards at all times. Provide patient education on breast health, exam preparation, and followup care. Operate and perform quality control checks on mammography and bone density equipment. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and front desk staff to manage high patient volume efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (Cerner or similar). May also perform breast ultrasound and bone density (DXA) scans as needed. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: - Mammography Technologist, Mammo Tech, ARRT Mammo, BLS, Hologic Active ARRT – Mammography certification (required) AHA BLS certification (required) Minimum 2 years of recent experience within mammography specialty Experience with Hologic mammography machines Prior travel assignment experience (at least 1 completed) strongly preferred Ability to thrive in an extremely highvolume department (100 patients/day) No local candidates within 50 miles Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and patient compassion Proficiency in screening, diagnostic, and biopsyprocedure mammography Excellent patient positioning and communication in a fastpaced environment Knowledge of quality control and radiation safety standards Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under pressure Teamoriented mindset with a patientfirst approach Consistent 8hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm) with guaranteed 40 hours per week Opportunity to work in a dedicated breast care imaging department at a leading hospital Gain experience in highvolume breast imaging including biopsies, US, and bone density Supportive, teamoriented environment Prime Atlanta, GA location – vibrant city with worldclass dining, culture, and attractions Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
