Job Description
A healthcare organization in Southern California is looking for a Mammography Technologist for a full-time day shift position.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, day shift
- 8-hour shifts
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
- Perform DEXA/bone density exams as assigned
- Educate patients and explain procedures to help reduce anxiety
- Accurately document procedures in EHR and PACS
- Work across the main campus and satellite facilities
- Maintain compliance with MQSA and state regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (R) certification required
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license in Radiography and Mammography required
- American Heart Association BLS required
- Mammography screening experience preferred
- Proficiency with mammography and DEXA equipment
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
