Job Description

Our client is seeking a Managed Care Analyst to join their team and support Epic contract management, reimbursement modeling, and financial analysis for hospital and professional billing. Responsibilities:
- Build, test, implement, and maintain complex Epic HB and PB contracts to ensure accurate reimbursement calculations and payment modeling.
- Configure and maintain Epic contract rules, components, and extensions while supporting system upgrades, enhancements, and testing.
- Analyze payer contracts, reimbursement trends, denials, and financial performance to identify revenue opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Interpret managed care contract terms and reimbursement methodologies, including CPT, HCPCS, MS-DRG, APC, and ICD-10.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and financial analyses using Epic Reporting, SAP BI, Power BI, StrataJazz, and Excel.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payer requirements.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, IT, and Financial Services teams to optimize workflows, maintain data accuracy, and communicate findings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Five years of experience in managed care and/or healthcare reimbursement is required.
- Must have EPIC and SAP BusinessObjects (Webl/SAP Universes) or comparable tools.
- Epic Resolute (HB) Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration certification or an Epic Resolute (PB) Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration certification is required upon hire. Both certifications must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Services or other related fields.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $46.00/hr. not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
