Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Managed Care Contract Administrator to support the financial performance of managed care agreements with insurance companies and PPO host networks. This position performs financial analysis, reviews contract and reimbursement data, conducts market research, and helps identify opportunities to maximize reimbursement.
This is a fully remote position available only to candidates currently residing in Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis related to managed care contracts and reimbursement.
Compile and evaluate financial, contractual, and market data.
Research insurance companies, payer requirements, and PPO host networks.
Review managed care agreements to identify reimbursement trends, discrepancies, and revenue opportunities.
Maintain reimbursement contracts and related information within Epic.
Complete and maintain provider and payer enrollment applications and documentation.
Track enrollment activity and follow up on outstanding requirements.
Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and supporting documentation.
Apply basic accounting and auditing principles when reviewing contract data.
Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Manage complex assignments independently while meeting critical deadlines.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contract, enrollment, and reimbursement issues.
Required Qualifications
Two or more years of provider, payer, and credentialing enrollment experience.
Two or more years of experience in a hospital, payer, or managed care reimbursement environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience with Epic contract maintenance, contract billing, or reimbursement contracts.
Experience completing enrollment applications and supporting documentation.
Understanding of accounting, auditing, healthcare insurance, and managed care.
Proficiency with word-processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.
Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must currently reside in Texas.
