Our Management Development opportunity is designed for experienced retail leaders who are ready to expand their skills and take on greater responsibility. Through structured training, hands-on experience, and direct mentorship, you’ll learn the business from every angle while making an impact on store operations, team development, and the customer experience.
Your Impact
- Partner with the Store Manager to lead daily operations, keep departments running smoothly, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
- Take an active role in our Management Development Program, building the operational, financial, and leadership skills needed for a future Store Manager opportunity.
- Develop knowledge across perishables, non-perishables, merchandising, inventory management, and overall store operations.
- Use sales trends, profit and loss (P&L) reports, and key performance metrics to identify opportunities, guide decisions, and improve results.
- Coach, support, and motivate team members through clear expectations, ongoing feedback, and recognition.
- Assist with scheduling, labor planning, and timekeeping to balance customer needs, staffing, and productivity.
- Support inventory planning, ordering, product availability, and rotation to keep departments stocked, fresh, and ready for business.
- Maintain high standards for merchandising, signage, cleanliness, and store presentation.
- Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards through consistent daily practices.
- Help improve profitability through expense management, shrink reduction, proper product handling, and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with department managers to strengthen processes, support sales initiatives, and improve team performance.
- Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or other senior leaders.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism, urgency, and care.
- Support onboarding and training so new team members feel prepared, connected, and ready to contribute.

Your Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in a busy grocery or retail environment.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a comparable leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of grocery operations, including product rotation, staffing, scheduling, merchandising, and safety standards.
- A demonstrated record of maintaining store standards, engaging teams, and delivering results.
