The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between warehouse operations, IT, business stakeholders, and third-party software vendors to ensure the stability, usability, and ongoing enhancement of the company's warehouse technology environment.
The successful candidate will help reduce reliance on tribal knowledge by improving documentation, supporting an upcoming WMS platform upgrade, and partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and application performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day application support for warehouse operations, troubleshooting system issues and ensuring business continuity.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, Customer Service, Salesforce administrators, and third-party vendors to support warehouse applications and system enhancements.
  • Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into functional solutions and system improvements.
  • Manage and prioritize enhancement requests and application backlog in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Participate in recurring business and vendor meetings to review priorities, issues, and future enhancements.
  • Support software upgrades by coordinating testing, validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between the WMS, Salesforce, EDI, and other enterprise applications.
  • Review system logs and assist with identifying and resolving interface or integration failures.
  • Perform basic application administration, including user account maintenance, security access, and system configuration.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
  • Train and support warehouse personnel and business users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes by understanding warehouse transaction flows and assisting with issue resolution. Familiarity with transaction sets such as 856, 940, 944, and 945 is preferred.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary functional liaison between business users and software vendors to ensure technology solutions align with operational needs.

  • Experience supporting business applications and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and documenting business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting business-critical operations.
Preferred Qualifications
