Manager Clinical Nutrition

As the Manager of Clinical Nutrition, you will manage all aspects of our patient care services, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Youll lead a talented team and provide memorable dining experiences for patients,visitors, and staff. POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY Under the direction and supervision of the Director, Hospitality and Nutrition Services, directs and manages the activities of a staff of assigned personnel engaged in the provision of clinical nutrition services and/or food service to patients at assigned facilities. Ensures the nutritional adequacy of patient menus and that all activities adhere to policies, practices, and standards set forth by regulatory and licensing agencies and the hospital. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors (Masters) degree from an accredited institution with a major in food and nutrition, in conjunction with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education approved program. Masters Degree required for new graduates beginning January 2024. Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed with the State of Indiana. Two to three years of progressively more responsible experience. Independent judgment required. Handles emergency or crisis situations. Diffuses potential problems. Requires knowledge of computer applications. Handles multiple priorities in a stressful environment. Makes decisions and recommendations to other health professionals. Employees may be shared and travel within the Health Care System. If applicable, must provide proof of current drivers license and current auto insurance.
