You will plan and lead the lead a team of specialists and oversee Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to secure our enterprise, cloud, and critical manufacturing (OT) environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Firewall Management: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, managing policy, deployment, and global connectivity across on-prem and cloud.
  • SASE & Remote Access: Lead the evolution of remote work security by implementing and optimizing Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) strategies.
  • Email Security: Manage and harden the Proofpoint platform to defend against advanced phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and malware.
  • Operational Leadership: Coordinate the daily activities of the internal network security team and external MSPs, ensuring high-quality service and strict adherence to SLAs.
  • Logging & Analytics: Architect the flow of network and security logs into Splunk, ensuring high-fidelity alerting and comprehensive forensic capabilities.
  • OT Alignment: Collaborate with plant operations to ensure security controls do not disrupt production uptime while maintaining a hardened posture. Namely work with the OT Security and Firewall Teams to ensure proper segmentation is maintained.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Oversee the technology budget for the network security stack and manage strategic vendor relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in network engineering/security, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (Panorama, Global Protect, Prisma Access).
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Conditional Access policy
  • Proven track record of implementing Zero Trust principles in a hybrid environment.
  • Demonstrated tools proficiency in Proofpoint and Splunk.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: CCNA, CCZT, CISSP, GICSP or equivalent advanced security certifications.

Work Arrangement:

  • Remote Flexible: This role can be performed remotely, requiring a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to maintain consistent communication across a distributed team.
