Manager/Educator-Cardiac Catheterization Lab & Cardiology

Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The role encompasses 24 hour direct responsibility for the supervision and management of cardiac catheterization laboratory and Cardiology Department that provide direct and indirect patient care for an age specific population. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address learning needs at the unit level, and participates in the provision of organizational wide education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree in nursing or other health related field or agreement to enroll in Bachelors degree program within one year of accepting position.

Experience: Must have a minimum of two years experience as a cardiac catheterization laboratory (CCL) staff member and/or two years experience in a supervisory position in a hospital setting.

Knowledge and Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written.  Able to work in a fast pace environment, able to work in a team environment and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments.

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license or ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists), certified by the state of California as a CRT (Certified Radiological Technologist).  A current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS and BLS card is required.

PAY RANGE

$62.84 - $94.26

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
