POSITION OVERVIEW
As an
Electrical Engineering Manager, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Manage and develop the Electrical Engineering staff supporting product development and production support.
- Lead and oversee engineers throughout requirements development, concept development, detailed design, and product testing.
- Provide hands-on technical support as a Staff-level Electrical Engineer.
- Design analog and digital ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications.
- Perform circuit tolerance analyses using hand calculations and SPICE tools.
- Develop, refine, and verify engineering requirements.
- Generate test plans and test reports related to product performance, including Brassboard, Design Verification, Qualification, and Firing Properties testing.
- Lead and direct test activities throughout all phases of the product development cycle.
- Lead failure investigations using structured tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and Cause & Effect.
- Prepare materials for and participate in design reviews throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Serve as a technical interface with internal and external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS

Electrical Engineering Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 13 years of prior related experience.
- Preferred: BSEE/CompE +11 years of experience or MSEE/CompE +9 years of experience.
- Experience designing with analog building blocks including differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters.
- Experience designing with digital building blocks including logic gates, flip-flops, timers, and filters.
- Experience with power supply and power conditioning design.
- Experience with AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion concepts.
- Experience with serial communication buses including UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Experience leading and managing product development teams.
- Experience with temperature sensors, MEMS accelerometers, differential pressure sensors, and gyros.
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools such as LTSpice and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with schematic capture and/or board layout tools such as Altium and PADS.
- Experience designing Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs) and Ignition Safety Devices is preferred.
- Experience working with MIL-STD-1316 and MIL-STD-1901A is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively across different engineering disciplines.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
