Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The Schwab Investment Platforms, Solutions, and Strategy Finance team partners across the organization to support thoughtful decision-making for a business that manages and supports more than $6 trillion in client assets, approximately $3 billion in revenue, 600 staff, and roughly $300 million in operating expenses. As a Manager, Finance, you will help shape the financial insights that guide strategy for Schwab's investment products, platforms, and services by supporting consolidation, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the overall organization.

In this role, you will translate complex financial data into clear, decision-ready insights for Finance partners and senior leaders. Your work will support revenue and expense forecasting, multi-year planning, product performance analysis, P&L insights, and business case development tied to growth and investment opportunities. Success will require strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve through ambiguity while helping teams understand the financial impact of strategic options.

You will be part of a collaborative Finance environment where partnership, adaptability, and clear communication matter. Through your work, you will help improve reporting and forecasting processes, strengthen visibility into business drivers, and contribute to decisions that support Schwab's long-term growth and client outcomes.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, or closely related finance work
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions through analysis, insights, and clear recommendations
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex questions and translate data into actionable business insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills to support financial analysis, reporting, modeling, and executive-level communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across a wide variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to identify data anomalies, resolve issues, and improve reporting or analysis processes

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience in financial services, asset management, or investment products
  • Background in FP&A, embedded finance, or business-unit finance support
  • Experience developing financial models, business cases, or multi-year forecasts
  • Ability to present complex financial information to senior audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling way
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships across Finance, business leadership, and cross-functional teams

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
